For a decade now, BoyleSports has been the proud backer of the Irish Grand National steeplechase. This year, the wagering firm is leveraging the event to shine a light on the dedicated individuals who tend to the equines.

As the title sponsor of the Irish Grand National, BoyleSports has elevated the prize purse for the sought-after ‘Best Presented Horse’ to €1,000 (approximately $1,083) as a tribute to the commitment and tireless efforts of the stable personnel. This gesture is part of BoyleSports’ 10-year anniversary commemoration of supporting the legendary Irish race, which boasts an overall prize pool of €500,000. Esteemed Irish Olympian, Joseph Murphy, will serve as the adjudicator entrusted with choosing the most flawlessly presented horse from all the contenders. Murphy, an accomplished horseman who intends to return to the global stage representing Ireland in show jumping at this summer’s Paris Olympics, remarked on his judging capacity: “This is a praiseworthy endeavor from BoyleSports and I’m pleased to witness the stable staff receiving recognition. They are a highly imaginative group and I’m eagerly anticipating what they have planned for Easter Monday.” To further stimulate the ingenuity of the stable crew, BoyleSports has also furnished a specialized grooming kit containing stencils, blue shimmering hoof oil, colored bands, and expert equine care advice. Sharon McHugh, Head of Public Relations and Sponsorship at BoyleSports, stated: “We are incredibly honored to be sponsoring this celebrated race for the 10th consecutive year and to seize this chance to acknowledge the arduous labor that the stable staff invests year after year.”

Thrilled to witness imaginative submissions materialize this past Monday – wishing everyone the very best!
