888 Holdings is soaring! The company recently unveiled exceptional financial performance for the initial two quarters of 2021, reporting a remarkable 39% increase in overall revenue.
This noteworthy expansion was propelled by several high-achieving segments. Italy spearheaded the growth with an astounding surge exceeding 80%, closely followed by the UK, which exhibited an impressive expansion of over 50%. Romania, Ireland, and Portugal also demonstrated substantial gains. This accomplishment underscores the potency of 888’s brand recognition and their astute approach of providing a diverse and captivating product portfolio.
Chief Executive Officer Itai Pazner expressed his enthusiasm, remarking, “Our positive trajectory from 2020 has continued into 2021, primarily driven by regulated jurisdictions.” He highlighted that their consistent market share gains reflect the effectiveness of their product-centric strategy, their data-driven marketing prowess, and their dedication to delivering premium content.
Furthermore, 888’s financial contributions have also witnessed an uptick, with tax payments rising from approximately $51 million (as of June 2020) to nearly $58 million (as of June 2021).
