An Australian firm, BetMakers Technology Group, is purchasing Punting Form, the company behind ABettorEdge, in an effort to bolster its presence in the horse racing sector. Punting Form is renowned for its groundbreaking application of artificial intelligence and exclusive intellectual property to produce sectional timings and standards for racehorses, establishing a time-centric rating method. This acquisition will enable BetMakers to incorporate this valuable information throughout its operations, with an immediate emphasis on improving its managed trading offerings. Moreover, Punting Form’s offerings will be introduced to new regions such as North America, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. The CEO of BetMakers, Todd Buckingham, stressed the significance of sectional timings in any reputable rating system, highlighting the substantial synergy this acquisition brings to both internal processes and the external client base. He extended a warm welcome to the seasoned team at Punting Form as they join the BetMakers organization. The agreement will involve an initial payment of AUD$3 million to Punting Form’s sellers, JJ Ventures Limited and Hkelly Holdings.

The wagering firm from Down Under, BetMakers, has substantially broadened its footprint by purchasing Punting Form, a well-regarded supplier of racing information and analysis, in a transaction potentially valued at almost $26 million. The upfront purchase price stands at $9 million, with the possibility of an extra $17 million disbursement should Punting Form achieve challenging performance benchmarks over the following three years. This calculated maneuver positions Punting Form as a vital element within BetMakers’ worldwide wagering services, strengthening their portfolio with insightful data perspectives.
